This neighborhood was developed by Clifton Land and Timber, who also developed other Simpsonville Subdivisions like Waverly Hall, Asheton Lakes, Savannah and Shellbrook Plantation.

The homes in Five Forks Plantation Subdivision are built by local custom home builders. Minimum square footage in this neighborhood is 2200 square feet for the one story homes, and 2800 square feet for the two story homes. Home prices are from the mid $400,000s. Buyers can also purchase one of the lots, which starts in the high $50,000's, and then select one of the approved builders to build their home.

Five Forks Plantation offers first class amenities package consisting of a 13 acre open common area, which includes: two lighted tennis courts, a junior olympic swimming pool with a pool house, a large clubhouse with wrap around porch, an athletic field, community-wide side walks, street lights, and a walking trail.

Average price of these homes was $169,003, Median price was $145,800, and total volume of $102,584,916. The average Days on Market (DOM) was 104 days.

Year to date, from January 1st 2009 to August 31st 2009 there were 4371 homes sold in the Greater Greenville Real Estate market. Average sold price was $167,559, Median sold price was $140,000, and total volume was $732,400,061. The average DOM was 101 days.
